    Common Questions

    Can you promote my thing?

Yes! If your thing is an event, organization, or initiative related to Japanese culture within Chicagoland, please send us your links.

Will you collaborate with my organization?

We’re interested! Send us your idea and our team will consider how we can best partner together.

    • We curate screenings, present panels, and can create programming specific to your audience.
    • We have working relationships with several local Japanese-American nonprofits to help spread anime-focused content to their audiences.
    • We’ve hosted dozens of talks, booths, and workshops at Japan festivals, pop culture conventions, and grassroots gatherings across Chicago.

Do you accept physical media like DVDs and books?

Sorry, we don’t have the space.

Check with your local library before donating them to Goodwill, Unique, or other thrift shop. Many fans will be thrilled to find your items while thrifting! Alternatively, you can find resellers like The Exchange (Lakeview) or Otaku Joe (at local conventions) but note this might not be worth the effort.
