Ghibli’s “From Up on Poppy Hill” now in theaters
Chicago’s Landmark Century Theatre and CinéArts in Evanston are screening Studio Ghibli’s latest film, From Up on Poppy Hill, through Thursday, April 11th. Adapted from the 1960’s manga, this story follows Umi and Shun as they face the demolition of their school’s clubhouse. Sorry subtitle fans, A-List actors were casted for the dub so it appears to be the only option. Read more on the US Release Facebook Page or purchase tickets through Fandango!
