Japanese Anime People of Chicago

JAPC is the first original mailing list/gathering club, not affiliated with any school club or organization created in October of 2000 for all ages, simply for the purpose of connecting fans of Japanese Animation, the various subcultures, and general Japanese Culture in the local Chicagoland Area. Members must be a resident of Chicago or surrounding suburbs, be able to attend some events or participate in the forums. Events are generally within reach of public transportation at private residences, so all members are screened for privacy considerations.

Group communication is via forums (with Yahoo! and Google Groups serving for backup purposes) so pay close attention for the latest word. Visit  japc.kisekinohana.net for more information. Shout out goes to Jen, owner/operator of JAPC, for assistance with the latest update!
