Utada “In The Flesh”

J-Pop singer, songwriter and all-around idol Utada will be performing at the House of Blues on Tuesday, February 2nd as part of her “In The Flesh” tour. Utada Hikaru is best known for her work with the Kingdom Hearts franchise as well as a few songs from Evangelion. Sorry, the youngin’ have to sit this one out as the show is 17+. Show starts at 8pm. Purchase your tickets in advance through Ticketmaster.com for $23.

    That was awfully fast. The House of Blues has so little capacity for a major venue.

    I was there. And it was good. ^_^ The only not-so-kawaii thing about the event was standing in the longest entry line known to otaku. Still, Utada was a blast—and she was a super-fun hostess and storyteller as well. Seeing her leave the stage and coming back to sing “Simple And Clean” made the concert! Next tour: Larger venue and more tickets. Period. What an amazing treat! ^_^
