FYE Anime Spectacular

FYE throws a bi-monthly anime party with lots of spiffy giveaways and a buy-one-get-one deal on all anime DVDs. Beyond discounts, there are trivia, drawing, video game and cosplay contests. The event attracts up to 30 attendees so it’s a nice slice of anime culture to drop in on throughout the year. If you’ve attended one of these discount days, let us know about it in the comments!

    Just went down to the F.Y.E. It’s actually tomorrow, and it’s buy one get one half-off. I’ll probably still stop in tomorrow to pick up a few things.

    Does this include to ALL FYE stores? Includibng the ones in Terre Haute,IN

    No, I don’t believe that’s the case. The employee who arranges the event at the downtown Chicago location seems to be working with store managers to push the inventory along. It’s worth promoting locally as this is the closest thing Chicago has to an “anime store.”

    Though, it wouldn’t hurt to contact your location and pitch the idea to them! Good luck, Leeolie!

    We do have our spectaculars, normally whenever one is going, thats when ours goes, im going to go Friday and see about it. We may have one this week, they always email me.

    I believe whenever an Spectacular is going, we do one, the lady who conducts ours is supposed to get emails from someone to let us know when it is.
